Vinayaka Chavithi, also known as Ganesh Chaturthi, is one of the most celebrated Hindu festivals in Telangana. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and prosperity, the festival is observed with great devotion over ten days. Beautifully decorated Ganesh idols are installed in homes and public pandals, where devotees perform daily prayers, bhajans, Vedic rituals, and cultural programs. The festival concludes with the grand Ganesh Visarjan procession, symbolizing Lord Ganesha’s return to his divine abode while blessing devotees with happiness and prosperity.
