Burglars Loot Gold, Silver and Cash from Locked House in Nirmal

A major burglary was reported from the Eidgah locality of Nirmal town after unidentified thieves broke into a locked residence and escaped with valuables worth several lakhs of rupees. The incident occurred while the homeowners were away, providing an opportunity for the burglars to target the property.

According to the complaint filed by the family, the culprits broke open the main door locks and entered the house. After gaining access, they searched through rooms and cupboards, collecting valuable items before fleeing the scene. The stolen property reportedly includes around 9 tulas of gold ornaments, 15 tulas of silver jewellery, brass utensils, and approximately ₹1 lakh in cash.

The burglary came to light when the family returned home and found the locks damaged and household belongings scattered across the premises. Shocked by the theft, they immediately informed local police authorities.

Police personnel, along with a forensic clues team, visited the location to inspect the scene. Fingerprint evidence and other physical clues were collected as part of the investigation. Officials have also begun examining CCTV footage from nearby streets and residential areas to identify suspects and trace their movements before and after the crime.

Residents of the locality expressed concern over the incident and called for increased police patrols and security measures. Authorities have assured that all possible efforts are being made to apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen property. A case has been registered, and the investigation remains ongoing.
