The School Education Department has launched a teacher rationalization drive across Nirmal district to address staffing imbalances in government schools and ensure that students receive adequate academic support. Acting on state government directives, the District Educational Officer (DEO) has initiated the process of identifying surplus teachers and redeploying them to schools facing staff shortages.
The exercise aims to achieve a more balanced distribution of teaching personnel by examining student enrollment figures and teacher availability in government institutions. Schools with relatively low student-to-teacher ratios are being reviewed to identify surplus staff, while institutions operating with limited teaching resources are being prioritized for additional support.
